sec hq5Securities Enforcement Forum 2012 is a one-day conference in Washington, D.C. that brings together preeminent attorneys, current and former senior SEC and DOJ officials, and other top professionals in the world of securities enforcement. The conference will take place on Thursday, October 18, 2012, at the historic Mayflower Hotel in downtown Washington, D.C.

Securities Enforcement Forum 2012 will kick off with a keynote address by SEC Commissioner Luis A. Aguilar, and will feature an extraordinary roster of panelists who will discuss the most important issues now facing attorneys and professionals who work in this area, including anti-corruption trends and developments worldwide; the criminalization of the securities laws; ethical considerations in defending and bringing SEC enforcement actions; challenges and opportunities presented by the SEC’s evolving settlement processes; and much more.
